Crazy that we live in a world where the live action One Piece is one of the best live action anime adaptations ever. It definitely has issues but they dont distract from whats good.

Its not a constant 1 to 1 recreation of the origonal, it makes changes that serve the narrative that they’re able to tell in 8 episodes. Characters that I never thought would have chemistry are shown to bounce off each other perfectly in this series.

One Piece is intimidating to most because of how long it is but this live action series is a great way to get people into the main series, and it stands on its own very well too.

Now all Netflix needs to do is PAY THERE WORKERS WHAT THEY DESERVE!!!
